What affects you today is VERY different to what affected you 10 years ago.
Ever get that feeling when you write something great and then go back to it a week later and it doesn't feel the same? Yeah, it's basically that! That window of inspiration or personal experience has closed and you moved on.
To label songwriting as good or bad just doesn't make sense. It would be the equivalent of writing in a diary and calling it a bad or good entry, it just doesn’t apply!
